I was listening to stuff on the site from 2013. To say we have come a long way is too great an understatement. When Corky initially joined he usually played keyboards, with a little guitar to spice things up. Now it is opposite, Corky is a guitar player, with some keyboards when needed. I was listening to Bush and Gore from May 2013. Fine performances but songs best left to memory for the most part. Though some of Jeff’s great early tunes came from those days building on his previous band experience. Of course current song production has reached a new level. Jeff has really taken off as a producer. We probably should have played more in 2025. Most of the songs we did create in 2025 are good tunes. I do believe the philosophy that less is sometimes best. I like that when we do jam Steve and Jeff bring new ideas and fresh sounds to try out. Of course playing music is a “state of mind” sometimes but I think we know each other enough to understand how life’s ups and downs impact creativity. I am forever grateful to the band (Steve and Jeff) for providing a fine musical runway that allows me to add lyrics where we create songs together. Here is to 2026 – where we will continue to create together.
