Back From Hiatus
New music! It seems like a long while since we actually played. As I listen to the new tunes that Jeff has graciously uploaded for us, I feel strangely rejuvenated. I am always surprised when I hear then evenings antics played back days later. No we are not great but in my mind at least we are just fine. To be able to get together and bring the four minds and ideas and skills to make music is amazing. Trust me – I have no doubt we will all listen to our material years from now and say – we weren’t bad. The playing of the two Steve’s has come so far, and the skill that Jeff brings to the music mix has grown. We have all brought more to the mix over the years, we may be getting more mellow – probably from less beer, but the music has not suffered from that. If anything I think we bring more energy now than we ever have. Gentlemen – long may we run. We need to continue to play. Thank you all for your music and your inspiration.
Well said Sir Davie…and apologies on the delay. With the house move, the computer relocation did not go to plan. There were moments where I thought my computer wasn’t coming back to life after disassembly… but I found work-arounds. It would be good to get some jam time in before the July.
