2021 A Reflection

We are close to closing out 2021. I will assume the consensus would be that 2021 sucked. I can’t disagree with that. Between the constant changes in the world related to what ever is going on out there as well as the daily struggles we all have to keep our heads above water, yea 2021 sucked. However for me at least, a giant bright spot was the Belvedere Brothers. Truthfully if it wasn’t for the Belvedere Brothers, well let’s just say I may have been tempted to go down the rabbit hole and stay there. Band night has become more important to me this year, perhaps because the world really has become a Spinning Top. Both Jeff and Steve have evolved as musicians and bring life and energy to the songs. The playing has gotten better and having both men as my friends has also brought comfort in a world that doesn’t seem to know where it is going. Also in 2021 the production of the songs moved leaps and bounds. Jeff has really moved his production skills to new levels. In 2021 we played with some old friends and introduced a fresh new guitar to the band’s sound that gave a burst of energy to our songs. Having said all that I look forward to 2022. May the Belvedere Brothers continue to evolve. Thanks guys for all you do.
