Relativity and Reality

As I write this I am playing the Belvedere Brothers COVID 19 Baby. I realize that I am lucky. How many people live their life without hearing their inner voice? I am lucky I met Jeff and we met Steve and Steve and we created a legacy of creative nights that have spanned over 10 years. Jeff thankfully created the web site that has allowed our legacy to life on after the Friday night jams. I listen to the songs and I remember the feeling and the spell that the evenings spun around us. We hit some tunes out of the park and some we just kicked to the side of the road. I can listen to the songs and I know where I was and what I was going through. Thank you Jeff for that. I am lucky because I have a set of friends who allow me to express my weird sometimes twisted view of the world in a creative manner. We get a record of what we created captured for us to listen to and remember what we felt and what was expressed. I am not sure we realize how lucky we are to have the band and the players and the room to be creative. If recent events have taught us anything – we should embrace what we have and treasure the components that make band night. The format be it Belvedere Brothers or 13 channels should be respected for the creative landscape that allows us to really go for it. What I am trying to say in a very awkward manner is that I value what we have and want you all to know how much I appreciate the comradery, the vibes, the zaniness, and the value I hold for you all.
