I listened to the three new tunes that Jeff was gracious enough to post for us. While I was listening I scrolled through the site back to stuff/comments/words from 2013. We have been doing this for a while. The results sometimes differ on quality but the time we play is usually consistent. The experience is still something that I cherish and look forward to. I see that we are all getting older but I hope you all still feel the electricity from band night. Its as if we have an opportunity to leave ourselves at the basement door and slip into someone else for a few hours. Creativity is just a rush. I know sometimes we create clunkers but the rush stays the same. Every time we start a new tune we have the chance to capture lightning in a bottle – to make something special and unique. Scrolling through the site did make me realize as the Grateful Dead once said – “what a long strange trip its been”. Thank you my three amigos for sharing the trip with me. Lets keep the train a running we have more songs to play.
